3. Visa Fees

Visa fees vary depending on the applicant's nationality and the type of visa.

The fees are to be paid in CASH at the time of passport collection.
Please note that only cash is accepted and Credit/Debit Cards are NOT accepted. Please prepare the Exact Amount of the visa fees.

 

4. Exemption of Visas

4-1. Visa Exemption Arrangements for Ordinary Passport Holders
Nationals and citizens of 71 countries and regions listed below are not required to obtain visas to enter Japan when the purpose of their visits are tourism, commerce, conferences, visiting relatives/acquaintances etc. However, when foreign nationals engage in paid activities in Japan or their periods of stay exceed those stipulated in each country’s arrangement of short-term stay, visas will be required to enter Japan. 4-2. Visa Exemption Arrangements for Diplomatic and Official Passport Holders
Japan has reciprocal Visa Exemption Arrangements for Diplomatic and Official Passport Holders with the countries listed in the MOFA Japan website. Please visit the MOFA Japan website (Diplomatic and Official Passport Holders) for further information.
